See an outdoor screening of The Greatest Showman on The Green at Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge on Friday evening, 5 July. The classic movie will be shown on a huge 8m x 4m inflatable screen as part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums lates programme.

Inspired by the imagination of PT Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

Come along when the gates open at 7.30pm and walk through the historic streets down to The Green, where The Victorian fun fair will also be in full swing; try your luck at the coconut shy and take a ride on the gallopers.  Bring your own picnic or grab some food and drink from the Forest Glen Pavilion, which will be selling alcohol, hot and cold drinks and snacks including popcorn, ice creams, loaded nachos and hotdogs. Set up camp with your own blankets, pillows or low-backed chairs, seating is not provided although some pillows and blankets will be available to hire on the night at £2.50 per person.

The film will be screened come rain or shine, so please be well prepared with warm, waterproof clothing and comfortable footwear and carry a brolly and torch. However, in the circumstance of unsafe weather, the event will be rescheduled. Refunds will only be given if you cannot attend the rescheduled date.

Tickets must be purchased in advance online priced at £15 each; Annual Passport Tickets are not valid for this evening. The Greatest Showman is rated PG by the British Board of Film Classification, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and dogs will not be allowed. The film will finish around 11.30pm. Parking is on the Lower Car Park at Blists Hill Victorian Town.
