The Extra Time Hubs are just one of the Health and Wellbeing sessions Shrewsbury Town in the Community run. Focusing on individuals over 55, the Extra Time Hubs are a place where people can socialise and participate in a variety of activities to improve their health and well-being.
On 21st July, Shrewsbury Town in the Community were able to bring back face to face delivery of their Extra Time hubs, and it was fair to say everyone was very excited to see familiar faces once again.
Kate Lindley, Health activator at Shrewsbury Town in the Community said;
‘After months of phone calls and online coffee mornings, it has been great to have some of the group back together for coffee. Isolation has left many of us nervous about re-entering the world, so our small group coffee dates are a gentle stepping stone for our members. Somewhere familiar, quick, safe and trusted. I have had lots of positive feedback’
