An adorable teddy bear designed to celebrate the birth of Royal baby Archie Harrison sold out before it even went into production.

Created by Royal favourites, Merrythought of Shropshire, the bear was designed to have the new baby’s name on his paw but fans crashed the firm’s website to order the bear even before the official announcement of the name on Wednesday afternoon.

A limited edition run of just 250 of the firm’s special occasion bears was organised by the firm. Each teddy bear features the new baby’s details beautifully embroidered onto the paws in silver thread, and is finished with a coordinating luxury satin bow.

Merrythought, Britain’s last teddy bear factory, also created the Royal Collection’s official Royal Baby Bear which also sold out just hours after the birth was announced.
