Peakes Travel Elite has announced the return of its successful Luxury Travel Showcase in November.

The multi-award-winning travel agency holds the event annually in St Mary’s Church in the heart of Shrewsbury. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, November 8th from 12pm until 4pm, slightly later than usual to account for Remembrance Sunday proceedings.

Peakes Travel Elite handpicks a selection of top tour operators from around the UK so customers can get the ball rolling on holiday plans for next year and beyond. The Peakes Travel Elite team will also be on hand to offer their expertise in the world of cruise, touring and adventure.

“There’s a swell of interest in booking holidays for 2027 and beyond, which is fantastic following a period of nervousness around travel for some this year,” said Claire Moore, managing director at Peakes Travel Elite.

“Our Luxury Travel Showcase is all about sparking inspiration and getting those initial conversations going. If there’s a bucket list holiday you want to explore or an adventure you’re itching to do, come along and speak with our travel specialists.

“Once you have some ideas to work towards, we can book you in for a follow-up appointment where we can take a deeper dive into all the possible itineraries and options. Our one-to-one appointments give you the space and time to finesse your holiday plans.

“Our travel showcase offering is evolving following customer feedback, so we will be welcoming some new tour operators this year who can help with any holiday dream.”

The new tour operators at the 2026 event are Expressions, specialising in luxury, tailor-made European trips; My Private Journey, which creates bespoke itineraries for South Asian countries; Simpson Travel, which provides luxury holidays in the Mediterranean; ANZCRO, whose holidays feature Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific; and Best Served, for Scandinavian adventures.

They will be joined by tour operators from Distinctive Americas, Inside Travel Group, Jules Verne, Exodus, HX Expeditions, Africa and Beyond, Scenic, and North America Travel Service.

Claire adds, “There are lots of new trends that we expect to see across our 2027 bookings. On one end of the spectrum we’re seeing more demand for complex itineraries that weave together multiple explorations. On the other end, many people are looking for holidays that help them switch off from the stresses of the modern world. We’re also seeing more multi-generational family travel that includes grown-up children, and more customers looking for holidays outside of peak season, with interest growing in May and September.

“It’s free to register for our Luxury Travel Showcase. So book in, come along, and let’s start your holiday planning with some introductory chats with the best in the business, and some refreshments on us!”
