Monks Estate Agents’ Judy Bourne, Business Owner/Director, and Beth Griffiths, Branch Manager/Valuer at the Oswestry office, are preparing to take fundraising to new heights as they take on a daring wing walk challenge in aid of Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices.

Judy will be taking to the skies dressed as the much-loved ‘Monks Monkey’, with Beth joining her for the challenge as the pair step well outside their comfort zones to raise vital funds for children and families supported by the charity.

With just five weeks to go before the big day, Judy and Beth recently visited Hope House and were deeply moved by the incredible care, compassion and support provided to children and their families.

Judy said:

“Seeing first-hand the incredible work Hope House does was extremely moving. The visit really brought home just how important their care, kindness and support is to families facing the most difficult times.

“We saw the beautiful family rooms, play areas, hydrotherapy facilities and gardens where children and their families can spend precious time together and create lasting memories.

“We were also shocked to learn just how much it costs each year to keep these vital services running, which has made us even more determined to raise as much as we possibly can.”

Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices provide specialist care and support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families from birth through to young adulthood.

Judy and Beth are calling on friends, clients, local businesses and the wider community to support their challenge.

“Every donation, no matter how small, really will make a difference,” added Judy.
