BeEndurance held a successful 10km race through the streets of Ludlow recently, with almost 400 competitors taking part. The roads were closed for Ludlow 10, which was sponsored by Brecon Carreg.
There was a special award for the ‘Most improved and utterly inspiring local athlete’ won by David Davies, and the ‘Fastest local male athlete’ award went to Jamie Lambie, with a time of 37.5 minutes.
Mr Lambie commented on the race, “I’m really pleased to have been the fastest local male athlete at the Ludlow 10. It was a great event and gave the runners the chance to experience Ludlow in a whole new way. The support of the crowd was amazing, and gave me that extra push. I’ll definitely be back next year!”
The course took runners through the quaint streets of the market town, passing local landmarks and cheering crowds.
BeEndurance are now preparing for the Storm the Castle duathlon, which takes place around Ludlow Castle in the spring.
