Steve Royal, star of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 and regular headline act at The Comedy Store has joined the line of a popular annual variety show for older people in Telford.
After being cancelled for over 2 years, Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin have tickets on sale for their much-loved Afternoon of Entertainment variety show. Aimed at the over 60s living in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin the charity promises a fun afternoon of live music and comedy.
The star-studded event will take place at The Place Theatre in Oakengates on Tuesday 20th September 2022. The theme of this year’s show is to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year and encourage everyone to dress up in their best red, white and blue outfits.
This year the extravaganza promises fun and laughter for all and has something for everyone. Alongside Steve Royal, the line-up features Black Country stars The Fizzogs, comedy couple Dandy Duo and music from a cappella group Men in Harmony.
