Hawkstone Hall & Gardens is a beautiful Grade I listed 18th century mansion set in a magnificent 88-acre Shropshire estate. Celebrate Christmas 2021 in this magical setting with a Luxury Christmas Break package featuring plenty of mulled wine and mince pies.
Hawkstone Hall & Gardens is offering two packages – a three-night stay from 24th – 27th December, and a two-night stay from 24th – 26th December. Both packages begin on Christmas Eve where guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and a warm mince pie on arrival. From 3pm, guests can indulge in a Festive Afternoon Tea accompanied by mulled wine. In the evening, guests will enjoy a glass of champagne and a themed canapé reception with entertainment, before the glittering Christmas Eve Ball and Festive Feast, prepared in-house by Hawkstone Hall’s team of chefs using locally sourced ingredients.
On Christmas Day, guests can choose from a traditional breakfast or a continental selection, accompanied by Buck’s Fizz. The morning can be spent opening presents by a cosy fire, strolling around the stunning grounds, or participating in Hawkstone Hall’s Christmas morning activities. Christmas Day Lunch will be a sumptuous 6-course feast, paired with a celebratory drink. As the evening approaches, The Refectory will be transformed into a cinema to screen festive films, with confectionery and classic Hawkstone Hot Dogs to match. The bars will be open for guests to continue celebrating late into the evening.
Boxing Day morning starts with a leisurely Hawkstone Hall & Gardens breakfast, followed by some time to explore the quaint town of Shrewsbury or to hire a bicycle from Hawkstone Hall and ride around the grounds. In the afternoon, Executive Chef Andrew Watts will be leading a cookery class with a matching cocktail masterclass so guests can decorate their very own Christmas-themed treats, from cute cookies to gingerbread houses. From 2:30pm, there will be truly a wonderful Boxing Day spread in the Chapel.
Then, it’s games night! Each room will be set up so that guests play all of their favourite Christmas games including bingo, family fortunes and a variety of board games. Afterwards, there will be farewell drinks as Christmas at Hawkstone Hall & Gardens comes to an end. The two-night stay ends here, whilst the three-night stay includes another night and breakfast on Monday 27th December, with a later check-out time of 12:00pm. Both packages are sure to provide guests with a truly magical and memorable Christmas experience.
