Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre is holding a get back to cycling afternoon on Saturday 22nd August from 12.30pm – 4.30pm. Enjoy the BBQ, browse the pre-loved bikes that will be for sale, have fun on the bike obstacle course and make decorations for your bike at the children’s activity stand ready for the bike parade at 4pm. Bring your bike along to be checked over, if it can’t be fixed on the day you will be able to make an appointment for another day, charges apply.

Centre Manager, Grant Wilson, says “We know that not having your bike in good working order is one of the main reasons why people get out of the habit of cycling. Here at the Discovery Centre, we want everyone to enjoy the many benefits cycling can bring to your health, your wallet and the air that we breathe, so why not come along, get your bike checked over and join in the fun for all the family”

Entry to the Discovery Centre and Onny Meadows is free but there is a charge for visitors to enjoy our Shropshire Hills Through Time exhibition and visit our mammoth. The unique grass roofed building houses a replica of the famous mammoth skeleton found in Shropshire. The café serves delicious home-cooked food. Browse our extensive shop selling a range of quirky gifts. For further details call 01588 676060 or visit the website: www.shropshirehillsdiscoverycentre.co.uk
