Community Resource has published its 2024–2025 Annual Impact Report, showcasing a year of meaningful progress, strengthened partnerships, and tangible impact across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. The report reflects the second year of the organisation’s five‑year strategy, guided by three key priorities: demonstrating a difference, collaborating for change, and investing for impact.

Demonstrating a Difference
Over the past year, Community Resource supported 5,664 individuals and 672 organisations, helped 931 households access affordable fuel, and delivered 93 health events attended by more than 1,000 people. Each statistic represents real stories of local people benefiting from timely support—from families keeping warm to older adults maintaining independence and young people gaining confidence.

Collaborating for Change
Community Resource continued to strengthen strategic partnerships, including welcoming Healthwatch Shropshire into the organisation and co‑chairing the Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly. These collaborations enhance the organisation’s ability to respond to local needs and amplify community voices.

Investing for Impact
The organisation expanded its team, improved digital systems, and developed welcoming spaces that foster wellbeing and collaboration. By investing in smarter systems and wider opportunities for participation, Community Resource ensures that its services remain connected, inclusive, and effective—particularly for rural communities.

Much of this impact stems from prevention and early support, helping people stay well, connected, and independent, while reducing pressure on statutory services. Looking ahead, Community Resource will continue to amplify community voices, strengthen prevention and early support, and make services more connected and inclusive.
