Coffee and Cakes for Charity!

Laura Morris from Shrewsbury; is organising a charity Coffee Morning at the Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust’s Abbey Station at 192A Abbey Foregate, on Thursday 25th September with funds being raised for Macmillan Cancer Support. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available from 10.30am until 1pm, for a donation to the charity and there will also be a raffle.

Laura Morris said: “I am pleased to welcome people to call in at Abbey Station to enjoy a coffee and a chat, to raise much-needed funds for the well-loved charity Macmillan Cancer Support. It is a most-deserving charity, and visitors can enjoy a cup of coffee in the warm and comfortable Abbey Station, situated in Shrewsbury’s beautiful conservation area. We have a raffle with some super prizes courtesy of Shrewsbury businesses, for which I say a big Thank You. The fundraising event will also give people the opportunity to see inside the visitor centre on a weekday. It promises to be a lovely occasion”.
