Fordhall Family Spring Fair returns on the 28th April.  The event celebrates the spring season by getting back to nature in a community spirited day for the whole family.

Fordhall Organic Farm, based in Market Drayton, has been organic for over 65 years and is England’s first community owned farm, owned by over 8000 community shareholders.

The event will feature lots of animals, stands, tractor trailer rides, a straw bale maze, and a chance to admire the wonderful view from the farm.

The fair organisers comment, “There will be lots for the whole family to enjoy.  Come and visit the lambs, ride a pony, witness some duck herding, enjoy a falconry display, join in with the dog show or meet some exotic animals!

“The spring fair is one of our flagship events, and we love welcoming visitors from the local area and beyond, for a day of fun that celebrates the changing season in our beautiful county.”

Attendees will also be able to witness a huge straw bale house that is being constructed on the farm.  It ties in with the story of the three little pigs – but this straw house won’t be blown down!

The cost is £3 per person, under 4’s are free.  Tickets can be purchased from Fordhall Farm’s website, and proceeds from this event go to Fordhall’s Education Programme.
