Created especially for younger people accompanied by their grownups, Candy and Cobwebs is a Halloween trick or treat event for families and under 10s at Blists Hill Victorian Town, near Ironbridge on 31 October and 1 November, 5pm-7pm.

Come along dressed in your best Halloween outfit, collect a fun activity sheet on arrival and begin exploring the Upper Town’s historic streets, which will be decorated with lanterns, cobwebs and carved pumpkins as dusk descends.

Try dipping a candle in autumnal colours, listen to a creepy story, design and colour-in a pumpkin picture and knock on doors to ask for a treat from the spooky Townsfolk. Little people completing all the activities will receive a goody bag to take home. The Coffee Shop and Fish & Chip Fryers will also be open with drinks and food for appetites big and small.

This event is perfect for families with young children looking for a gentle spooky experience rather than a scarier Halloween night.

Candy and Cobwebs takes place between 5pm and 7pm priced at £5 for adults (16+), £7 for children (aged 2-15) and £20 for a family (2 + 2). Non-participating under 2s are free, but still need a ticket for entry. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.ironbridge.org.uk.  Ironbridge Gorge Museum Passports are not valid for this event, dogs will not be allowed and remember to bring a torch although the site will be lit. Plenty of parking is available onsite at £3 per vehicle.
