It’s Beautiful Shropshire magazine is delighted to be joining forces with Community Resource as the official media partner for Ladies Who Lunch for Good – an inspiring new event bringing women together for networking, conversation and fundraising in support of communities across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
Taking place at The Wroxeter Hotel, Ladies Who Lunch for Good will welcome women from businesses, charities and communities across the county for an afternoon designed to create connections, inspire conversation and, most importantly, raise valuable funds for Community Resource.
As official media partner, It’s Beautiful Shropshire will be helping to shine a spotlight on the event, the people involved and the important work Community Resource carries out throughout the region.
A major highlight of Ladies Who Lunch for Good will be an appearance from Deborah Mitchell, founder and CEO of Heaven Skincare, who will be the event’s special guest speaker.
More than 30 years ago, Deborah founded Heaven Skincare after developing her own skincare solution. She has since grown the company into an internationally recognised British skincare brand, while keeping its head office and development firmly rooted in Shropshire.
Heaven Skincare now holds a Royal Warrant, while Deborah has been Queen Camilla’s facialist for more than 20 years. She continues to work from the company’s flagship salon in Shifnal, which has welcomed clients since 1995.
During the event, Deborah will reflect on her remarkable business journey, sharing her experiences as a woman in business and offering insights into building an internationally recognised brand from Shropshire.
Ladies Who Lunch for Good will be hosted by Amy Bould, Community Resource Trustee and founder of Be Bold Media.
Alongside the guest speaker and a two-course lunch, the afternoon will provide plenty of opportunities for guests to network with women from across Shropshire, as well as a prize draw, table competition and goodie bags.
At the heart of the occasion will be fundraising for Community Resource, which works across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin to help people and communities facing a wide range of challenges.
The charity’s work includes reducing isolation, supporting health and wellbeing and helping people affected by rising living costs. It also works alongside local groups, volunteers and community organisations to help them thrive and continue making a difference in the places they serve.
Every ticket sold for Ladies Who Lunch for Good will directly support this important work and help Community Resource continue strengthening communities throughout the region.
Guests will arrive at The Wroxeter Hotel between 12pm and 12.30pm for reception drinks, followed by a welcome and introductions. A two-course lunch will be served from 12.45pm, with tea and coffee preceding Deborah Mitchell’s guest appearance at 2.10pm. The afternoon will conclude with closing remarks and further networking at 3pm.
The event is being supported by a number of Shropshire businesses and organisations, with The HR Dept Shropshire as headline sponsor, WR Partners as programme sponsor and It’s Beautiful Shropshire as official media partner.
Ladies Who Lunch for Good promises to be an uplifting afternoon celebrating women, creating new connections and raising funds for a cause that makes a difference to people throughout Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
